  Has anyone been outed by jw health care workers?

  carrying on from audespare thread.

  i was wondering how common it is for a sinner/apostate to be outed by a babbling jw care worker?

  say you went to your dr because you were pregnant and unmarried or wanting counseling for having to live a double life as a pretend jw... and a jw secretary at the drs office saw this on your file and went tattling to the elders?.

  Health care workers in hospitals have told on people that have gotten sterilized, that have gotten abortions, STDs, etc.

  I heard of one of these gossip ladies that one of the JWs turned around and did a lawsuit against the worker and the hospital. It was a big deal for that congregation; needless to say, the person who was wronged because her privacy got violated, ended up disfellowshipped because the lawsuit was proof of no repentance.

  What's even worse is that that this wronged/violated person is now back in the JW ranks! Indoctrination is brutal in some cases.

  my wedding was not what either of us wanted at first, but it turned out very lovely.

  Hi y'all!

  Huge JW wedding, 400+ guests. Lots of food, cash bar, dancing. It was just wonderful!!!

  Hubby and I enjoyed it very much, no stress, no problems.

  I really enjoy weddings.

  is it possible it's not like they initially said, that it was just having god's name added in places where it had been deleted, and that perhaps they're making more adjustments to it in order to fit our doctrine?.

  JWs in denial, so sad

  i had a couple of jw sisters call at my door today.. they started with the bizarre "can we read you a scripture" and read about "death being no more" and asked what i thought of that.. i said it sounded like a mix of disney and dumb.. they then launched into how god was going to put an end to death and wasn't that wonderful?.

  i said it would have been more wonderful if he'd not created death in the first place.. they thought man created death by disobeying so i questioned why god couldn't have just forgiven them.

  apparently "because he loves us" is supposed to be a satisfactory answer to why he kills us.. i asked how loving it was to kill hundreds of thousands of children in tsunami's, disease and so on.. at this point, they gave up on the 'god is love' and switched to the bible being true no matter what because it was an old book and moses had written the first chapter (says the book).. when i suggested it really wasn't that old and that most of the bible myths were copies of older stories from before it was written they questioned if i studied the bible and theology.. then i told them i was brought up as a jw so knew it was all crap.. now it was game on, they immediately switched to play defence questioning why i'd left (and i think they'd already taken a step back away from "the evil" obviously emanating from me).. not much time to say much before they cut and run so i told them i'd left because i found out it was all based on lies and that the watchtower was corrupt and covered up things like child abuse.. oh no, you're thinking of the catholics one of them said (some disdain in how she said "catholics" as though "we're so much better than them").. "well, i challenge you to do a search for the australian royal commission and you'll see the testimony the watchtower leaders gave and the damning evidence that they covered up abuse and reported none of it to the police.".

  If this cong has a good reporting system, your address will be marked as 'Apostate' and then you might only get the elders once each year.

  Hopefully, they'll be curious and realize the WTBTS is no better than any; wherever imperfect humans form a union of any sort, there will be all sorts of atrocities committed, it's part of who we humans are.

  The claim that we have the absolute truth and that we're better is being proved wrong easily now that the world has gotten so small thanks to all the info available in the www.

  i want to spare you a long post about my background.

  because this topic is about something else.a small information is that i knew ttatt before i got married.

  but then i somehow pushed it back for quite some time because i didnt want to change my life and it was convenient to instantly meet new people when you move into a new city.couple of years into my marriage and seeing all the changes in the jw my thirst for ttatt resurfaced.

  Do JWs ever doubt that the end is really coming?

  as a former dubber i had many occasions to doubt that the end was coming.

  i was told it was ok to doubt but not to think about it too much and wait on jehovah.

  that bull shit lasted until they changed the meaning of generation in 95 and that was the end of that bull shit for me.

  The other day an elderly lady told me the end was so close that she was sure she would live through it. I just smiled and said "hmmm...." while walking away. Felt sorry for her and these other really old people, remember this is FL, in the cong who claim they will live to see Armageddon.

  So far, I have attended 4 funerals in the past 5 years of those who thought for sure would live long enough to see the end.

  Sad.😔
